Natural Hammered Round Bathroom Copper Vessel

The copper sheet gauge on this copper bowl changes depending on the part of the sink where is measured: The upper edge is 0.152 thick, the middle of the sink is gauge 8 (0.12″) and the bottom part is gauge 15 (0.056″), making it a very heavy piece. This bathroom copper vessel has a standard 1.5″ diameter hole and it does not have an overflow system. It is intended to be mounted above the counter, no border around it, except a bold edge, technique used by the copper-smiths on the copper sheet border to make appear thickier than actually it is. The result is a beautiful bowl, that when seen from above if shows a thick copper edge, giving a strong body to the sink! The finish is natural-looking, showing a reddish copper color. This finish is acquired when cooling down the red-hot copper sheet instantly using cold water.
